About the Artist

Jane Hayman was
raised in Texas and
trained as an artist in
Northern California
(Marin County and San
Francisco).   

Wishing she had been
the biological mother of
puppies and kittens,  
she has fostered
and/or adopted dozens
of animals during her
lifetime.
Expressive representations of our beloved animal companions
Jane's personal pets
have included guinea
pigs, turtles, hamsters,
rabbits, frogs, fish,
birds, as well as dogs
and cats.  

Presently, she lives in
Austin with two cats,
two toy poodles and
an English bulldog
(who believes herself
to be a toy poodle).

An Australian husband
is also in the picture.
